About Cedar Harbor
We are a Christian, Non-Profit Organization located in Central Massachusetts, just north of Worcester. Our goal is to build faithful connections with other organizations and churches in the area with the hope of helping both individuals and communities to find these places and thrive with them.

Director
Jake Gehman felt called to be Director of Cedar Harbor Foundation simply because it is a role that allows him to serve others in a Godly manner and collaborate with the community through activities and initiatives that promote building positive relationships. Being raised a Christian and having experienced God's guidance and love in his life, he looks forward to how the Lord reveals ways to serve others through the foundation and share that love through genuine connection and care in this exciting role.
Founders
John and Melissa Harris founded Cedar Harbor because they believe in the mission of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the Good News to all who need it and to advance His Kingdom in their local community. They are strongly connected to Central Massachusetts and believe that building relationships among members of the community is the best way to encourage fellowship and mutual growth in mind, body, and spirit.

The concept behind Cedar Harbor
The cedar, frequently referenced throughout the Bible, thrives all over the world, is evergreen, strong, deeply rooted, and blooms as well as fruits. It symbolizes continuous growth and firm support. Harbor represents an endless supply of water to nourish growth, as well as protection from storms and uncertainty. Thus the name suggests a safe and nurturing space while we grow together in faith, truth, and light.
